Good Omens (The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch) is a collaboration between two great writers, Neil Gaiman (Stardust, Smoke and Mirrors, Coraline among others more) and Terry Pratchett (The Bromeliad Trilogy, A Hat Full of Skies, Going Postal among others more). The book is a true master piece. Taking a fun and funny approach to the end of the world the book makes you laugh and think. We meet Aziraphale the Angel that guarded the Eastern gate of Eden and Crowley (not his real name) the demon that took a serpent`s shape to tempt Eve. They have both lived in this planet since creation, and now they are very fond of it and everyone in it. Not in the same way as we, humans, are off course. When they find out that the Devil is sending to the earth the Anti-Christ they both come to discuss if they like the idea of the world coming to an end.
With a variety of funny, honest and real characters this book takes you to an imaginary world that still sounds real to us. We meet the modern form of the four knights of the apocalypse, a chatting black nun order. A group of kids, a witch (or professional descendant as she puts it), a couple of witch hunters and more characters that make the story flow and keeps you entertained in each chapter.
I would definitely recommend this book for people who like the imaginary connection to the real. The sarcastic and comedic views of the world we inhabit. Every page is a new laughter of discover. You will not be able to drop this book from when you start, perfect for the summer. After reading this I wouldn’t be surprised if you started blaming demons for the telephone lines to not work on a Monday at lunch time. If you do read it tell me what you think about it, comment here and let me know.

This sounds like an amazing book...I'm definitely going to pick it up this summer! And I love the movie critiquing you're doing (waiting for Thursday to watch Angels and Demons)!
