First Post!

I have to admit that when I first knew that this was going to be one of my classes I was scared, and I thought this was going to be boring. The first day already proved me wrong! Now I am actually very excited for the class, and by the description of the professor I feel like I am going to have fun and learn as well.
My name is Rafael and I am a Freshman in my second semester. I am 20 years old and Im from Brazil. I am double majoring in Communication and Musical Theater with a minor in Dance. Comming to the US was a dream come true. I have always loved the english language (not grammar) and for both of my majors this was the best place for me to go. I first came with just a Communication major, but after finding out about the Musical Theater and Dance program I was really excited, because those are some of my true passions. I also love Television and Movies, and it would be definitely hard if I had to pick one of these.
To talk abou on my first post I have decided to talk about dancing. Dance is something that reallly grew on me while I was here, being a international student I have realized that there are no acents to dance. Wherever you are, and whatever language you speak you can always understand dance. You can always talk in dance and always know what people want to say!!!
My favorite types of dance are Hip Hop and Modern/Contemporary, as an "youtube so you think you can dance video adict" I have been watching this onde forever, and I never get enough! It is one of the best choreos I have ever seen, and I also love this song!
